Do you offer a cutting service?

Yes. Builder Depot offers an in-store cutting service at selected branches.

We do not offer a pre-cutting service for timber or sheet materials purchased online. Products ordered through our website will be supplied in the sizes shown on the product page.

Which branches offer a cutting service?

The service is available at:

• New Southgate
• Staples Corner
• Park Royal
• Acton

What materials can you cut?

Sheet materials
Products such as plywood, MDF and OSB can be cut using our mechanical saw.

Finished timber sections
Products such as architraves, skirting boards and PAR timber can be cut on a self-service basis. Cutting equipment is provided, including a cutting table, gloves and handsaws.

When is the cutting service available?

Cutting-service availability and operating times vary by branch.

We recommend checking with your chosen branch before travelling, particularly if you're visiting specifically to have materials cut.

How much does the cutting service cost?

The charge is 75p + VAT per cut.

The number of cuts required will determine the total cutting charge.

Can I order cut materials online?

No. Products purchased through our website cannot be pre-cut as part of your online order.

The cutting service is available in-store only at participating branches.

If you require materials to be cut, please purchase them through a participating branch and arrange the cutting service in-store.

Can I have cut materials delivered?

If you purchase and have your materials cut in-store, please speak to the branch Trade counter about the delivery options available.

Delivery availability will depend on the products, delivery location and the arrangements available from the branch.
