How much does delivery cost?

Delivery charges depend on your order value, delivery location and delivery method.

The exact delivery charge for your order will be shown at checkout before you place your order.

Free delivery

Free delivery is available on qualifying orders delivered using Builder Depot transport:

• Zone 1: Free delivery on orders over £500 (inc. VAT)
• Zones 2–4: Free delivery on orders over £1,000 (inc. VAT)

If your order qualifies for free delivery, the delivery charge will show as £0 at checkout.

Builder Depot deliveries

For orders below the free delivery threshold, the following charges apply when delivered using Builder Depot transport:

• Standard delivery: £30 (inc. VAT) per order
• Express delivery: £40 (inc. VAT) per order

Available delivery options will be shown at checkout.

Courier deliveries

Some orders are delivered by third-party couriers.

Delivery charges can vary depending on the products ordered, delivery service and delivery location. Any available options and charges will be displayed at checkout before you place your order.

Direct from supplier deliveries

Some Online Only or Direct from Supplier products are delivered directly by the manufacturer or supplier.

How can I check the delivery charge before ordering?

On the product page, enter your delivery postcode to see the available delivery information for that product.

Once you've added your items to your basket and entered your delivery details, you'll be able to see the available delivery options, dates and applicable charges before completing your order.

You do not need to contact our Customer Service Team for a delivery quote — the applicable delivery charge for your basket will be calculated at checkout.

Why is my delivery charge different from what I expected?

Your delivery charge is calculated using the products in your basket, order value, delivery postcode and available delivery method.

For example, some products may need to be delivered by a courier or directly by a supplier rather than using Builder Depot transport.

Because delivery requirements can differ between products, the charge shown at checkout should be treated as the applicable delivery charge for your order.

Can additional delivery charges apply?

Additional charges may apply if a delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances such as undisclosed vehicle access restrictions or insufficient assistance being available to unload the goods.
